What North London Conservatoire (formerly North London Colourstrings) says

The North London Conservatoire (formerly North London Colourstrings) is now registering children from 6 months - 7 years to join our age-specific Kindergarten music classes from September 2024! Classes run for between 30-45 minutes throughout the day Monday - Thursday and on Saturdays. Please contact us now for specific class times, to check availability and register your child for a set of three trial classes at a special discounted rate! The North London Conservatoire was established in 1995 and has gained an outstanding reputation for musical excellence through its teaching of children of all abilities. Colourstrings is a fully-integrated approach, based on the traditional Hungarian Kodály Method. Children learn all the basics of music through a variety of activities, including songs, rhymes, games, listening, movement to music, percussion and dancing. Instrumental tuition is offered usually starting from 5-7 years (violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar or piano) for Kindergarten graduates. By the time the children move on from Kindergarten to start learning an instrument with us they are already achieving levels of musicality at least equivalent to Key Stage 2 for 11 year olds. Babies 6 months + Toddlers 17 months - 2 yrs Children 2-3 yrs Pre-school children 3-4yrs 4-5 yrs (reception aged children) 5-6 yrs (Y1 children).
