Description
Creative Kids is an after school drama and crafting club that uses games, music, interactive activities and active play to encourage teamwork and communication skills.
We encourage kids of all ages to attend, starting from 4+, and we want to encourage families in need of affordable child care to feel included in the Creative Kids Community. We offer a limited number of free spaces for families receiving benefits and look forward to working with St Luke's Church to build a welcoming community for all.
St Luke's children will be offered a walking bus with collection from classes from the school to the St Luke's Church on Mondays but the club is open to kids from all the surrounding schools and we strongly hope to encourage a mix of participants. All kids will be asked to bring a snack and will enjoy snack and social time at the start of the club at 3:30. Then we will offer a variety of interactive drama, craft, games and music activities. Parent pick up will be at 4:45 from St Luke's Church.
The club is run by former primary school teachers and nursery teachers as well as other Enhanced DBS-checked community members. Author, Celia Anderson, is the creative director and enthusiastic leader, and a first aider will be onsite at all times. This club is fully Liability Insured as is the St Luke's Church.
All safeguarding is in accordance with the Active Hands safeguarding policy and the St Luke's Church safeguarding policy and is available upon request.
