Description
Amy’s yoga classes offer a welcoming, safe space to create or maintain a yoga practice during pregnancy and into motherhood.
Each session is a dedicated space for you to arrive as you are, and be welcomed and nourished. Classes consist of an hour of yoga practice with the opportunity to connect with fellow mums afterwards. Yoga postures are modified to help empower your body to support changes, release tension from tired muscles, build strength and promote relaxation. Classes are focussed on intuitive, supportive movement and include modifications to enable students to honour their agency. Optional (pregnancy safe) essential oils are offered during savasana along with mindful meditation to help in anticipation of birth. Pranayama (Breathing techniques) are also offered to help support birth itself.
No previous yoga experience is required, and practice is recommended from 14 weeks onwards.
