BARNEY’S TODDLER GROUP

Barney's Toddler Group is a FREE baby and toddler group. We run for a full two hours are are really happy for you to drop in around your little ones sleep times or stay for the full session.

We always finish with half an hour of music, giving out a selection of instruments for children and parents. We sing along to real instruments rather than using pre-recorded music and use actions, puppets and props where we can. We then end with bubbles which the littlies love!

As well as the usual developmental toys such as building blocks, vehicles, toy animals, ball pool and ride-ons etc, we also provide a variety of sensory play activities such as coloured rice, play dough and moon sand. We have a garden which will be able to be used in the summer months and provide a lovely outdoor space.

We offer snacks and drinks free of charge although there is a donations pot for anyone who wishes to contribute to the running costs of the group.

St Barnabas is a lively church that holds many community activities throughout the week. At toddler group, you'll also benefit from our community clothes rail and find out about other events that you and your children could join in with.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and safe space. At St Barnabas, everyone is welcome and included.

Please note our last session for 2025 is December 15th. We are having major refurbishment work throughout January and Barney's Toddlers will start up again in February.
