Carmenta Medical is a private medical facility in Berkhamsted. Our expansion has been mostly through word of mouth as our satisfied clients continue to recommend us to friends and family. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Many of our doctors and health care professionals are actively practising in central London but live locally allowing for flexible appointments in a calming, relaxing and discrete environment. We cater for both self-payer as well as medically insured patients.

All the support you may need for your pregnancy & baby is provided under one roof here at Carmenta Life! Our outstanding services are provided by a dedicated, experienced and professional team.

We provide ultrasound scans; antenatal consultations; wellbeing therapies such as pregnancy and postnatal massage, reflexology, acupuncture, plus, hypnobirthing and antenatal classes; baby massage, pre & postnatal yoga and fitness classes; breastfeeding, baby tongue tie treatment; and much more! We run weekly Parent & Baby Classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also hold weekly drop in Breastfeeding Cafe every Thursday 1.30pm - 3pm, it's a lovely space to practise breastfeeding out and about and have a chat with other mums. All are welcome!

Our wide range of therapies cover many aspects of wellbeing and can support you both individually or in combination with medical treatment.

These are suitable for adults and in some cases younger children.

Some of our therapies include counselling/psychotherapy, a variety of massage treatments, acupuncture, reflexology, nutritional therapy, allergy testing/iridology, laser therapy and hypnotherapy.

Our list is not exclusive and new treatments/therapies are being added all the time so please ask us for more details.

We also have rooms for hire,We welcome practitioners in a variety of medical and complementary therapies to enhance the range/choice of our services to both expectant and new parents , children and adults of all ages.
