Description

Treat yourself and your baby to a special musical experience with BAM: Babies' Adventures In Music. This warmly interactive performance celebrates music from around the world with many instruments, styles, gentle movements and stimulating sounds. Featuring singing, harp, accordion and an array of stringed instruments, BAM creates a magical experience for babies and their caregivers. Come to either the 11am or 2pm concert and join us for lunch and an information fair for parents and carers between 12pm and 2pm, free food provided. The concerts give you an opportunity to relax and have a special experience with your baby. The information fair will give you an opportunity to find out what services and support are available for you and your family in Wolverhampton. Older siblings are also welcome.

BAM concerts are relaxed, so you are free to feed, come and go, and move about as you need to. We will allow latecomers to enter, although you may wish to arrive early if you can, to get a good spot on the mats. We encourage you to sit on mats on the floor with your baby, but there will also be seating available. There is limited parking and limited space for prams and buggies at some of the venues, so do allow time to get parked if you're driving, and if possible bring your baby in a sling or carrier. Please get in touch if you have any dietary requirements, allergies or access needs, or if you have any questions about the event. Contact Jenny on 07967 187822. Adult and child tickets are free or pay what you can - all donations will go towards future opportunities for families in Wolverhampton. Please make sure you book a ticket for everyone attending, including babes in arms and accompanying adults, as we need this data for our funders. This event is funded by the UK government through Wolverhampton Family Hubs.

Newhampton Arts Cedntre is now called Wolverhampton Arts Centre. The BAM concerts are in the New Horizons Marquee in the Wolverhampton Arts Centre Carpark. There is ground level access with space to park buggies. There will be a free lunch in SNAC Cafe and a family information fair in the marquee in-between the two concerts.
