DARE VALLEY FOREST SCHOOL

We are an inclusive group aimed at ages 3-7 who are Home Educated, in Part Time Nursery or haven’t started school yet and their grown ups (but all ages are welcome!) . 

Children are able to explore nature in depth and learn at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment. We take inspiration from a combination of Forest Schooling, unschooling, Froebelian, Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, however, all learning approaches are welcome and supported!

We have a very relaxed structure at our sessions. There is plenty of time to get to know each other, explore, and settle in to the space. We will have a range of activities on offer that will be displayed around our woodland to start at any time. Half way through we will toast marshmallows on our campfire and have a nature story and song focused on the Skogsmulle characters to learn about nature and the environment.
