We’re excited to offer a special 30-minute Urban Forest School class just for children who’ve attended the Sing-Along Sally session immediately before! This is a discounted add-on class designed to gently extend your child’s morning with nature play, exploration, and connection.

This session offers a unique, nature-based learning experience, blending outdoor exploration with educational activities in an urban setting. As a qualified primary school teacher, early years practitioner, and Forest School leader, I am passionate about fostering a connection between young children and the natural world. This program focuses on experiential learning, where children engage in a wide range of activities like building, sensory play, and observing wildlife, all designed to spark their curiosity, creativity, and love for the environment.

Through spending time in natural spaces, children develop crucial life skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and resilience, while also enhancing their physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Forest school offers a safe, child-led learning environment where children can explore at their own pace, building confidence and independence. They gain a deep sense of environmental awareness and responsibility as they interact with the world around them.

With a strong foundation in early childhood education and Forest School principles, I guide children through hands-on learning experiences that nurture their individual growth while encouraging collaborative play and social skills. This holistic approach helps children thrive in a supportive, dynamic, and nature-rich environment, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

This is a beautiful way for your child to move from music to movement, from rhythm to roots—expanding on the joy and connection they’ve just experienced with Sally in a whole new way, out among the trees.

What Parents Need to Know Before Bringing Their Child:
🌱 This class is held outdoors, rain or shine (unless weather is unsafe)
🌱 Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather and ready to get a little muddy or messy—layers, boots, and a sense of adventure encouraged!
🌱 Children should be able to independently engage in the activities offered, but parents should stay nearby and encourage engagement where needed
🌱 The session focuses on child-led exploration, nature-based activities, and gentle guidance from experienced forest school facilitators
🌱 Designed for ages 18 months to 5 years, and intentionally kept small for a nurturing, high-quality experience
