Description
Each 45-minute session is full of joyful music-making, designed to help children:
• Develop coordination and rhythm through movement and percussion
• Grow confidence in a relaxed, friendly setting
• Build early musical understanding through stories, singing games and creative play
What we do:
• Singing, movement, rhythm and percussion
• Simple musical games that build confidence and focus
• Early music reading through the MusicLand curriculum – children meet “note” characters who live in a magical musical world
• Based on the Kodály approach, using songs and hand signs to make pitch and melody easy to understand
• Led by qualified, professional musicians
• Offers clear progression to other GAM music groups (Infant Singing & Rhythm, String Starters)
• Performance opportunities at festive concerts, giving them wonderful shared experiences and a sense of achievement.
