HOUSEMARTINS MONTESSORI BABY CLASSES

My name is Raquel and I am a Montessori teacher with over 10 years of experience working in Early Years.

Each week we will explore a new topic through age appropriate Nursery Rhymes, Stories and a Practical life activity or sensorial baskets.

Join my fun, creative classes where I focus on your baby’s holistic development, including language, social-emotional growth and fine/gross motor skills.

There’s 2 classes daily: The Little Swallows - newborn to 12 months; and The Housemartins Class aimed at 12 months to 36 months. Have a look on my website for more details.

Winter Half Term topics will be:

5-9 th January: Cold - Brrrr- a very sensorial class where we will look at what we wear at this time of year, to actually feeling a piece of ice!

12-16th January: New Year, New Routine - we will continue exploring what we wear this time through a lovely touch and feel basket in The Little Swallows class. The Housemartins will practice putting on their warm hats and gloves on!

19-23th January: Scotland- Burns Night- The Little Swallows will have a lovely treasure basket with oats and for those weaning/solid food it will be a fun tasting class with taties and neeps. Bring your tartan if you have!

26th - 30th January: Farm Animals - we are going on. trip to Old Macdonald's farm. The babies will learn the animals names while the toddlers will build a barn using stickle bricks and magnetic tiles.

2nd-7th February: Valentines day! "Guess How much I love you" will be the book of the week. the toddlers will have a lovely arts and crafts activity using stickers and dot markets.

9th- 13th February: Chinese New Year! We are celebrating the year of the Horse! Let's taste foods from China and learn about the traditions at this time of year.
