Description
Breastfeeding doesn’t suddenly become simple once the newborn stage passes — many families find new questions and challenges arise as babies grow into toddlers and beyond.
This relaxed, supportive online session is for parents breastfeeding older babies and children who would like guidance, reassurance, or simply space to talk openly.
Topics may include:
- Teething and biting
- Breast refusal or changes in feeding behaviour
- Sleep and breastfeeding
- Reducing or ending breastfeeding
- Balancing breastfeeding with childcare, work, and family life
The session is led by a qualified IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and offers a safe, non-judgemental space to ask questions, share experiences and learn from others going through similar stages.
There’s no pressure to speak — you’re welcome to just listen — but plenty of opportunity to chat, discuss, and explore whatever feels most relevant to you and your child.
Who is it for?
Parents and carers breastfeeding babies beyond the early months, toddlers, and young children.
Format:
Online | Informal discussion | Live support from an IBCLC
