LJS NURSERY SCHOOL

Little LJS is a type of preschool program that children attend before starting nursery with their loved one, whether mum, dad, nanny, grandparent and so on . In this playgroup, children experience activities similar to those they will encounter in nursery, but within a supportive, comfortable, and familiar environment. Children attend the playgroup with the adult who spends time with them in the mornings (parent, grandparent, nanny, etc.). With the active participation of the accompanying adult, and under the guidance of the teacher, the children participate in activities, sing songs, dance, and listen to stories. The children engage in free play and structured activities led by the teacher and they enjoy snack together. Through these experiences, children learn to participate in structured activities, guided by a teacher, and interact with other children, forming bonds—similar to those they will experience in nursery settings and throughout their childhood. Little LJS provides children with many important skills for their future development. Furthermore, the playgroup strengthens the bond between the child and the accompanying adult. Above all, the playgroup is a particularly enjoyable experience for both the children and the accompanying adults.

The circle time will include songs with movements, stories, dances, or games that relate to topics from the children's world and the curriculum of the preschool (seasons, holidays, animals, colours, etc.). The morning session will begin with a welcome song, and the closing session will end with a farewell song
