MRS FURRYBOOTS MUSIC FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS

Small music and sensory classes in a relaxed and supportive environment for babies, toddlers and their Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers! This includes action songs (e.g. Row your boat), traditional songs and nursery rhymes, songs and activities based around themes (e.g. under the sea, going to the Zoo). We stop for a sensory break and the little musicians can explore percussion instruments and resources, while their grown up has a chat and a quick snack. Finally we have a short relaxation session( e.g. gentle songs, parachute games) before we sing Goodbye.

I am Mrs Furryboots and I am an experienced and qualified Scottish Primary and Special Needs teacher. I started Mrs Furryboots music classes from my garage 25 years ago. My children were small and I naturally sang nursery rhymes and played guitar for them and their friends. Soon I was being asked to host small groups of neighbourhood children. This developed into a full time job for a few years before I returned to full time teaching.

Now my children have grown into independent, confident (and musical) adults and I have retired from my teaching career.

I now run classes for babies and toddlers a few days a week and have a YouTube channel with over 5300 subscribers and a library of 500+ Nursery Rhymes and children's songs. I add favourite songs including some originals most weeks.
