ONCE UPON A MESS

Free trial session- Wednesday 10th September 2025.

Storytelling, sensory and messy play classes. Each session will be based around a book and will follow the following structure.

Reading our story of the week with props and drama

Time to explore.

Children and parents will have the opportunity to explore the various stations linked to the story including characters to retell the story, play- dough, messy and sensory activities.

Goodbye- we will come together at the end to finish our session with a song and goodbye.

What kind of messy and sensory activities will there be?

Activities will be varied and different each week but may include the following:

• dry sensory resources such as rice, beans, pasta, chickpeas.
• shredded paper and cut up ribbons
• natural materials such as sticks, leaves, flowers
• water play
• play-dough
• shaving foam
• paint
• slime
• sand and kinetic sand
• Oobleck (cornflour and water mix)

Classes can be block booked or individual sessions booked. Discounts will be applied to block bookings. 

Due to the nature of the class, your child (and you) will get messy. Please ensure they wear old clothes which you don't mind getting messy. You may wish to bring a change of clothes.

Towels and wipes will be provided to clean up at the end.
