Description
Children are encouraged to develop imagination and creativity through nature exploration and open-ended natural resources. Self-directed play helps build self-esteem, self-confidence and safety awareness. Children and their parents form their own nature connection. This fosters understanding and respect for the environment as well as health and well-being.
Session is completely outdoors and takes place in all but very extreme weather conditions, e.g. torrential rain, thunderstorms. There are no toilets on site.
Age range for Home Ed Forest School is 4 (rising5)-12 years, i.e. children who would be in reception, KS1 or KS2. Morning Under-Fives group may be more suitable for some 4 year olds.
