Join us for this new offering from the Shala for new mums – or dads – and babies to stretch, relax, sing, and connect. This is a safe space to feel seen, supported, and part of a community.
Our gentle, welcoming Mama (Papas welcome) Circle with yoga, massage and social includes:
- Postnatal yoga for mums - restorative movements to strengthen and ease your body
- Baby yoga - playful stretches and positions to support your baby’s development
- Baby massage - gentle touch to nurture bonding and calmness
- Songs & movement - interactive, joyful moments together
- Circle sharing - a chance to speak openly about the joys and challenges
- Tea, biscuits & chats - relaxed connection time to build friendships
What to expect:
- A Holistic space where mind, body, and spirit are cared for together
- An inclusive, mindful, grounding atmosphere
- A community - this is not just a class, but a network of support
- Non-judgment - every mother’s journey is honoured.
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Please bring a towel for the baby and all bits and bobs.
- As a suggestion maybe also bring e a teddy bear or doll next to you in case baby falls asleep or is not interested in baby massage so you can still practice the sequence.
- Unfortunately, there is no space to leave prams in the ground floor. We strongly recommend you arrive carrying your baby on a sling.
- We do ask that you take away any dirty nappies with you when you leave the studio after class.
- Our Baby & Me Socials run once a month, always on a Tuesday from 11:00 - 13:00 and will be held with 5 or more participants.
- Partners are welcome.
