This is what fun we will be getting up to:

🌸 Mother’s Day Sensory Tray

Children will be invited to explore a Mother’s Day sensory tray filled with flowers, dried pink rice, scoops, spoons, and soft ribbons. This calming activity will support fine motor skills, language development, and sensory exploration as children pour, scoop, and create beautiful “bouquets” for their mums.

🎨 Pottery Painting

Children will enjoy pottery painting as a special Mother’s Day keepsake. Using brushes and sponges, they will explore colour and texture while decorating their own pottery pieces to give to Mum.

🖐️ Handprint Keepsake

Children will create heartfelt handprint keepsakes to celebrate Mother’s Day. Each child will proudly press their hand to make a one-of-a-kind print, capturing a precious moment in time.

🌹 Tissue Paper Rose Bouquet

Children will create a bouquet of roses for Mum using tissue paper and card. This activity will encourage creativity, fine motor development, and a sense of pride in their handmade gift.

🍓 Pink Playdough Love

Children will roll, press, and shape pink playdough using heart cutters, rolling pins, sequins, and flowers. A gentle strawberry or vanilla scent will add an extra sensory element while strengthening little hands.
