WALTHAMSTOW TOY LIBRARY AND PLAY CENTRE

Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre is a small charity supporting local families for 50 years with a range of affordable services -

• Drop in at our daily play morning/afternoon sessions - £5.50 or £1 for low income families. All play sessions are run by trained early years staff, who plan and design sessions to support our ethos of learning through play.
• Book a session at our magical sensory room - £7 or £3.50 for low income families. Sensory Rooms are calming and relaxing spaces and can improve social skills, and enhance cognitive and motor skill development
• Borrow high quality toys from a £1 - it's better for your pocket and our environment

All play sessions are run by trained early years staff, who plan and design sessions to support our ethos of learning through play.

During the first hour we have free play where your child can choose what they’d like to do and you can relax with tea or coffee! We break for a healthy snack and the session ends with circle time (singing, storytelling, music and movement) and an opportunity to borrow toys.

Sessions cost £5.50 for the first child and £2.50 for additional children.

For families on low income the fee is £1 for the first child and 50p for additional children. For families with no recourse to public funds sessions are FREE.
