Pregnancy yoga - Pregnancy yoga classes suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy. These gentle classes are designed to help ease aches and pains of pregnancy as well as to help you keep active and healthy.
Mum and baby yoga - The Bloom+Flow Mum and baby yoga class is a great way to start moving again after the birth of your baby. The postnatal yoga course in Dartford is a class where you can bring your baby! Enjoy some gentle stretches and flows that are suitable for the postpartum body, whilst some sensory activities and nursery rhymes are mixed in to keep your baby happy and settled as well as aiding their physical development. Each week we will focus on breath work, core strength, pelvic floor work and increasing your range of movement to ease stiffness.
Mum and baby yoga is suitable from 6 weeks post partum if you have had a straight forward vaginal birth. If you have had an instrumental birth, third or fourth degree tear, or caesarean birth please wait until 12 weeks post partum. You must be given the all clear from your gp that it is safe for you to now take part in physical exercise.
Yoga flow - Yoga class in Dartford for women. Yoga flow focuses on moving with the breath, strength work, flexibility and pelvic floor work. Each class finishes with a guided relaxation.
Hypnobirthing - learn how to feel in control during birth, breathing techniques and mindset to make birth easier, simple ways your birth partner can support you as well as being involved.
About
The person behind the business is Colleen Stewart – mum of two and accidental business owner. After an amazing birth with my first baby back in 2015, and then hearing other people’s birth stories at baby groups, I soon realised that most people did not have the same magical experience that I did. So, whilst still on maternity leave I re-trained to be a hypnobirthing instructor. I loved supporting families in my local community, and once of the questions that I kept getting asked was are there any pregnancy yoga classes to go alongside hypnobirthing.
In 2020 I completed my pregnancy and post natal yoga teacher training, followed by advanced post natal yoga teacher training and then my full 200 hour yoga qualification in hatha and vinyasa yoga. My business has organically grown over the years and now I also offer retreat days, private yoga classes and have moved my hypnobirthing course to an online version.
Around busy mum life, and running Bloom and Flow you will find me reading, on the mat for my own yoga practice or planning a holiday!
