Story and Rhyme Time is a relaxed and friendly session for all preschool children aged 0–4 years — everyone is welcome, and there’s no charge to attend and you do not need to book.

Each session lasts around 45 minutes, though we’re very flexible. The focus is on having fun through familiar rhymes, songs, and actions, using props such as puppets to encourage children to join in. Sessions are led by the children’s reactions and interests, and we sometimes include a short story, depending on the ages attending.

We also make time for a short mid-session break, giving parents, carers, and grandparents the chance to chat and connect. Different group members take turns leading, bringing their own skills, ideas, and energy to each session — so no two weeks are quite the same!
