Description
Designed especially for small groups of parents and babies (up to 6 months or pre-crawling), these gentle sound baths offer a sensory-rich sanctuary where you & your little one can rest, regulate, and reconnect.
Each session weaves together mindfulness and breathwork practices followed by a soothing live soundscape, creating a calming environment that supports bonding and co-regulation between parent and baby. Think of it as a space to pause, breathe, and simply be.
Most parent & baby classes are designed just for little ones, but this is different, offering a holistic space for you both. Together, you share a restorative experience that harmonises your wellbeing and strengthens your bond.
A beautiful way to recharge, meet other new parents, and share the early weeks of motherhood. The perfect first class for parents who are craving something slow, soulful, and truly transformative in the early months of parenting.
I’ve never been to a sound bath before, what should I expect?
The experience begins with gentle mindfulness practices such as breathwork, humming & over the clothes baby massage to help you & your little one settle. From there you’ll be guided to get comfy for the sound journey. A soothing soundscape follows accompanied by live instruments like soft chimes, seed shakers rain sticks & Tibetan bowl. After the sound journey there’s time for connection, an open invitation to share how the experience felt & some further practices to connect and ground to allow you to softly transition back into your day.
How will this benefit me as a new parent?
Sound baths are designed to be deeply relaxing and restorative. They can help support nervous system regulation, ease anxiety & give you a chance to pause & recharge whilst supporting connection with your baby.
How will this benefit my baby?
Babies are very receptive to sound and vibration. The soothing environment helps them feel calm and secure, and the shared experience supports bonding and co-regulation.
How close is public transport?
Richmond Train Station is a gentle 15 -20 minute stroll, whereas Richmond Bus station is closer 5 – 10 walk.
Is parking available nearby?
There’s limited payable parking directly in front of 50 Hill Rise. Other payable car parks such as Old Deer Carpark and Paradise Road are a short stroll away.
Is there somewhere at 50 Hill Rise to park my buggy?
Yes, our front of house team will be on hand to help you park your buggy in the welcome area at the venue. Please note that you will need to carry your baby up 7 steps to reach the studio area, as buggies remain safely in the low-level welcome area.
Many parents find it helpful to bring a baby sling for the short journey upstairs and for socialising in the on-site Nourish Cafe.
Complementary water and herbal tea are available to enjoy before and after your session. Or you may wish to treat yourself to a freshly roasted coffee, vibrant juice or yummy baked good & continue socialising with new friends.
