Happy Little Senses Messy Play is especially for babies and young children aged 6 months to 4 years, providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment where little ones can explore through play. Our sessions are carefully planned to be age-appropriate and child-led, allowing children to discover new textures, colours, and materials at their own pace.

Messy play supports early development by encouraging sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and confidence, all while having fun.

Each session uses a variety of non-toxic, taste-safe materials so parents can feel reassured while their children explore freely. Activities may include splashing, squishing, pouring, scooping, painting, and imaginative play, helping children learn about the world around them in a hands-on way. There is no pressure for children to create a finished product; the focus is on the process, curiosity, and enjoyment.

Our messy play sessions also offer valuable bonding time for parents and carers, creating shared experiences and special memories. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere encourages social interaction, helping children develop early communication skills and build confidence around others.

By embracing the mess, children are given the freedom to express themselves, build independence, and develop a love for learning through play.

Parents - wear appropriate footwear.
Children - babies and children can be barefoot or wear non slip socks.
Wipes will be provided.
Please bring a change of clothes and/or towel if you like.
