Saturday Classes in Harpenden:

• Tiny Tots Ballet (3-4 years) 9:00 - 9:30am
• Tots Ballet (4.5-5 years) 9:40 - 10:10am
• Junior Ballet (5.5-6.5 years) 10:20 - 10:50am
• Street Dance/Jazz (5-9 years) 10:55 - 11:25am
• Senior Ballet (7-10 years) 11:30 - 12:00pm

These ballet and street dance/jazz classes are suitable for both beginners and children with some prior experience.

The younger children begin to learn the ballet terms and language (French) for the different exercises. They then combine these to form routines and dances set to lively, recognisable music that encourages good rhythm and a positive response.

The older children learn more complicated lessons using patterns and directions.

All the classes are lots of fun and a way to not only improve fitness but also to encourage creative expression and deportment.

Recognising that self-esteem is essential to a child's emotional development, we use praise and encouragement to develop this, with an emphasis in our school on learning through fun and enjoyment.
