READY, STEADY, GO PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

The Free Stay and Play session is for parents/carers and their child aged 0 to 4 years. These sessions are supported through funding from the Neighbourhood Board - Spondon and The National Lottery - Awards for All and enable Ready, Steady, Go Parent and Toddler Group to be accessible to all families in the local community and surrounding areas.

There are a range of activities available that pre-school children love to play with and explore. Part way through the session, there will be songs, rhymes and a story to bring all the adults and children that attend together.

We do encourage adults to interact with their child during their play. However, this is also an opportunity for you to spend time with other like-minded parents, chat, build friendships and share parenting knowledge.

Over a cup of tea and a biscuit, the group leader and volunteers will spend time talking to all family members and are also available to signpost adults with any concerns about their own or their child’s health, education and wellbeing. We don’t profess to be expects in everything, but hopefully we can be a listening ear and point you in the right direction to a charity, agency or professional that might help relieve a problem.

As the session is free for you to attend, you can to donate a packet of 'nut free' biscuits for all parents and toddlers to enjoy.

Please read, complete and return the Welcome Letter and Parental Agreement on registration.
