SPLAT MESSY PLAY

Join our multi age classes, which cater to a wide developmental range, from infants who can sit independently to preschool-age children. This approach encourages peer-to-peer learning and fosters social interaction across different age levels, making it particularly beneficial for friendship groups with children aged 5 months and up.

Classes are designed to support your child's holistic development, fostering growth in both fine and gross motor skills. Through engaging activities, children build important social skills and form early friendships in a positive setting, all while exploring and developing their five senses.

Your child will engage in hands-on, creative development by exploring various textures and materials. This is an open-ended activity with no fixed outcome, encouraging imagination and curiosity. Some children will naturally get more involved and appear messier than others, which is a normal and healthy part of the sensory learning process.

For those who need it, a large tub of warm water and flannels are provided at the end to wash down. Please remember your towel 🛁

Each week the activities are planned around 1 theme with no less than 7 play areas (2 wet messy stations, 2 dry messy stations, 1 paint station, 1 homemade playdough station, 1 craft station). Most of the products used in class are taste safe which means they are safe to be consumed in small amounts (children tend to explore with their senses including their mouth). They are not however meant to be consumed as you would as a meal. Please make sure you supervise your children at all times. Allergies can be catered for in most circumstances, please get in touch before booking.

Please bring a towel and change of clothes
Ensure you have a nappy sack for dirty nappies (feel free to leave them on the bin provided)
Snacks or milk are also recommended, using all 5 senses makes babies very hungry and tired!
